2K has announced WWE 2K25, the next installment in the WWE 2K series. As the follow up to WWE 2K24, this new game will build on the franchise and bring new features, gameplay and a stacked roster.

Development and Gameplay
WWE 2K25 is being developed by 2K and Visual Concepts, the same team behind previous games. The game will have:
- Improved Gameplay: Better mechanics for a more realistic wrestling experience.
- Big Roster: Current WWE Superstars, Legends and rising stars.
- Multiple Match Types and Modes: Fan favourite match types and modes, plus new ones.
During Take-Two Interactive’s November earnings call the game was described as a title that “will take the series to new heights” which has got the wrestling and gaming community excited.

WWE 2K25 Release and Platforms
WWE 2K25 is set to release in Q4 Fiscal 2025 which means it will be out by March 31, 2025. Given the series’ history a March 2025 release date is likely, same as WWE 2K24, WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K22.
No platform announced yet but expected to be on:
- PS5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC (Steam)
- PS4
- Xbox One

WWE 2K25 Roster
The WWE 2K25 roster will have a huge amount of male and female Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and NXT plus WWE Legends. Confirmed names are:
- CM Punk
- Cody Rhodes
- Roman Reigns
- Rhea Ripley
- Liv Morgan
- Bianca Belair
