Rockstar Games has announced that the long-awaited trailer for Rockstar Games GTA 6. The next installment in the popular GTA franchise, will launch in December. The trailer release coincides with Rockstar’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
In a blog post, Rockstar Games stated that when the company was founded in 1998. It’s goal was to make video games as culturally relevant as other entertainment mediums. Rockstar hoped that through this mission, it had created beloved games that contributed to the evolution of gaming culture.
The company added that they were very excited to announce the release of the first trailer for the next Rockstar Games GTA 6 Auto game in early December.

This announcement follows reports by Bloomberg that hinted Rockstar might unveil GTA 6 this week, along with a trailer launch. Although the trailer likely won’t reveal specific details about the game’s appearance or gameplay. It should offer a sneak peek at what to anticipate.
The official title for the next Grand Theft Auto game is still unconfirmed. Though GTA 6 is used by many as a placeholder. Historically, Rockstar has named titles after fictional cities inspired by real locations, like San Andreas (California) and Vice City (Miami).
According to reports, previous leaks about the new Grand Theft Auto game have revealed intriguing details. Notably, some leaks indicated the game may feature two protagonists. A male and a female character – which would be a first for the GTA franchise.
